Does AS 1/2" rear lift lower the front??

Ok, I've been tossing this around for a while now. IF a 1 1/4" spacer raises the front of the truck 2 1/2", if you add the 1 1/2" rear spacer, would it not drop the nose back down an 1" or more by putting the angle back in? I'm still debating on 33" or 35" tires. A.S. says that teh 2 1/2" lift will clear the 35's but I know some people have went to a 2" spacer because the 2 1/2" made the front higher. I was thinking about getting the 2 1/2 front and the 1 1/2" rear until I started trying to figure out what that will do to the front again?

The rear add-a-leaf should have the same affect. Is there something else that goes on when the front spacer is added that gives the truck more lift?

the as 2" spacer is actually 15/8" but gives 2" of lift....not 11/4" that gives 21/2"....if you lift the front with a 2" AS (which is what im using) and you got a 11/2" AAL....it will look like it does stock but with the fton 1/2" higher than the rear....the point of the aal is either if you haul stuff or a cheap mans lift. as for the tires...post this in wheels/tires and ask for wandall....he is the tire/wheel guru on this forum

My bad there. The 2 1/2" spacer is actually 1 3/4" thick. Maybe that's why I couldn't figure it out.
