Looking to replace my '06 that I sold with a FX4 with the luxury package (supercrew).

Could anyone who ownes a Lux pkg chime in on likes/dislikes and all the features present in the pkg?

My' 06 FX4 has the Luxury Package. I for one am happy that I got it! It comes with a little better leather interior, I like have the adjustable pedals, climate control, heated seats and mirrors and both power seats. I think it's a plus all around. You get the nice amenities of the Lariat, but with the agressive looks of the FX4. So, from me, no complaints!

Same here, but with no NAVI though. Dosen't work offroad that well I heard. If you want a meaner Lariat, Then this is the route to go. Wonder how long this thread will go w/o a lariat / fx4 debate...

Mine didn't come with the parking assist, nor the roll down rear window. Didn't like those options. Not my style.

 

No, I don't have the NAV system. I don't need it, I'm a guy and guys never ask for directions or get lost, right??

 

I ordered one with this package and it should be coming in next week. It's a great value for $995 MSRP. Just the heated seat/memory option on a Lariat is in the $600 range. The only item I wish was also included on this package that Lariat owners get is the full message center in the dash. Here is a list of the '07 FX4 Luxury Package content:

When did they start doing this? Don't know about the skull caps. Guess I'll have to see them.

 

New for '07. There are a few in the gallery if you search for '07 luxury. Although I have noticed on the supercrews with the power fold mirrors do not get the colored skull caps but the ones without power fold do. All supercabs get the colored skull caps.

I've got most of what you listed in my '04 FX4 except that. I wish I had the memory seats and pedals.

 

Ahh, not sure about that.. At least not on the KR.

Which brings up another thing. I was thinking about a FX4 w/ the Lux pkg, but after I priced everything out the King Ranch was only a little more. The KR comes standard with all the goodies that have been mentioned in this thread.

 

This is true. King Ranch will be my next pickup. But for now, I've got a good balance between the Lariat, KR, and the FX4.

 

You are right about the KR, it does not apply. But we were not talking about the KR. This info about the skull caps was for the FX4 w/ Luxury package. The KR is nice, but some people like the look of the FX4 better. It's nice Ford actually has a package like this for the best of both worlds.

 

Actually now that I think about it, I know the Lariats Screws also include the painted mirror caps as an option with the power fold, but I didn't know that about the FX4's. I would think that it would be the same as the Lariat/KR's.
