I agree. If you go black wheels they look better with a chrome or polished lip. There has to be some bling. All black wheels just dont look that great. IMO.

I think we have the same truck. If it were mine, I would go with Chrome. Think about it, factory wheels are polished aluminum and they don't look bad (not as good as chrome, but not bad.) So yeah, the chrome will look good. I wanna see pics when you get it done.

I like the black, but I do agree that it depends on where in the country you live. Here in the Northeast, black is popular and looks good with a lift.

The more paint on your truck... The more chrome you need on the wheels.

Chrome

You are right the factory wheels arent bad. Thyey actually grow on me the longer there on the truck. The thought has crossed my mind about just putting bigger tires on the stock wheels.

totally dependant on the color of your truck. you can get away with black wheels with black, white, silver or dsg. chrome for everything else.

Thats the exact same thing that I was debating when I bought my rims, black or chrome on a truck with hardly any chrome. I got the chrome since I really couldn't find a black wheel that I liked. Now more than a year later the only thing that I would do different is that I would have gotten 20's instead of my 18's.

I've never liked chrome (although some do look very good). I've been looking for a decent painted wheel with a polished lip, but I am not sure that black is the color I would chose. Someone just posted these in the wheels forum:

I am really digging the silver painted ones. They also have the anthracite (greyish?) color as well as black and chrome. Just thought I would throw out some other color options to consider.
