Hi Guy's I have a mission with my new 2007 fx2. I just put new wheels on the truck & my low tire presure light is on. Next problem I have is that I sold my stock OEM wheels. I DONT HAVE THE SENSORS ThAT GO IN THE WHEEL! How can I disconect that sensor? Is there anyway of doing it? FUSES MAYBE??
All help is appreciated!

I didn't even know the FX2's came with that? As for the sensor its probably cause of your new setup. As for disconnecting it, id say look in your manual should tell you there

I think air pressure monitoring is now required for new vehicles?

TPMS is a federal requirement for ALL vehicles for 2007+.

As far as where you can get the transmitters, check your Ford dealer or fordpartsnetwork.com. I am not sure if the TPMS can be disabled by doing something as simple as pulling a fuse.

Thanks guys, I'll look into it. This Fx2 is pretty whell equiped. I went from a Lariat to this & it very much compares except for the AC controls & steering whell controls & on board computer. I will call my local ford dealer to see if they carry those sensors.

Thanks!
