....i have heard bad and good things about them....seems like people bash them for being cheap??

im wondering cause (i know ill get bashed for it...) i wanna put some lambo doors on and GT factory sells for $800...Aim sells for $400..and the suicide doors and lambo door kits together for about $800

well.....im decising between jsut lambo doors or lambo doors front and suicide back.

i can do sucidie and lambos for about 800....not installed. form AIM
or just lambos from AIM for about 400 not installed.

or pay 800 for GT factory lambo doors.

 

A good buddy of mine has the sickest lowered silverado I've ever seen, custom pearl escalade white with metalic flakes, on 22's, everything shaved. He has lambo doors, and I hate them. They are difficult to close and when they are all the way up they rub against the hood/top of the fender. They look great, but not very functional. It really is a pain to have to guide the door into the hole sometimes. Everything on his truck was professionally installed. Keep that in mind Pat.

But can you do me a favor and find out what company they are? GT factory, vertical doors inc, glide doors, aim industries, etc.

Pat, man, I say do it!!! I have also been looking into doing the same thing, also heard good and bad things. I read recently in a truck mag that auto loc is coming out w/ sumthing called a "Voodoo" hinge, as they called it. Said that they also have a vid on there site to show how it works, but they call it sumthing else, an my work computer won't let me watch the video. It is supposed to be like a lambo hinge that u can mount anyway, like suicide lambo. Just remember, haters are gonna hate, it's ur truck not theirs, do what u like, and makes u happy.

 

yea i saw that a lil while back.....i am going to check the out for my rear doors.

but i AM going to do the Lambos.....just need to decide what compnay and all.

and i personally think you should get the fake lambo doors.
get the ones that go up, but the ones that also go out like normal doors just to keep things practical.

 

They might look cool if you were putting them on a show truck or something, but they would suck to use every day on a daily driver. I know I wouldn't do it.
