It is intended to be a sun screen or third visor between the two regular visors. If you want to make it stand out get some mirrored window tinting and apply it as an eyebrow across the top of the windshield and it will definitely be visible.

They didn't charge me anything extra. As long as you have 100% glass coverage, they don't care. It's OEM so they put it in.

Umm, did y'all ever think that if it could be seen from the outside that it would read backwards? Kinda like ECNALUBMA.. I guess it'd read right in someone's rearview mirror..

Actually, what I have seen, is when the sun is shining through the windwhield, the image show's up on the back side of my rearview mirror (correctly- not reversed), which you can see from outside the truck. Nice subtle effect I think..

I dont know about everyone else's but mine reads correct from the outside and backwards inside.

I haven't looked to see if it could be done but it seems like you could put something on the inside of the windshield that could highlight the letters. Maybe if you put a white or colored piece of vinyl on the inside, you'd see the black f150 with color from the outside.
