Looking for feedback from those who have installed headers.
Which kind?
How long you have had them?
Anyproblems?
Significant gains?
What i want to do is headers with a true dual exhaust system. unsure about what to do about the cats yet. there are so many options of brands and types of everything i just havent figured out what i want to do.

I have the pacesetter longtubes cost me 430ish I have had them on almost a year with no issues. they still look like the day I put them on. I did gain 20RWHP and 25RWTQ that was before the Roush supercharger. Longtubes are worth it! do not waste your money on shorty headers.

they may be choppy first listen, just replay clip and it will be fully buffered.
Also FX4 Matt has the same header set up so he can chime in as well.
oh and one more question about the header. i looked for these pacesetter headers but couldnt find any that said they were for a 4x4. also sound some reading that long tubes werent a good idea on a 4x4 because of the transfer case. any feedback out there?

Looks like they've ditched your sound clips.

I've got dynatech on mine, had them on for a couple of month's and love them.the truck really sounds like it has some *****.
The dynatech headers also comes with a y-pipe with 2 high flow cats, and everything bolts up with no cutting. I thing $1500 is a litle pricey, but it is a very nice kit.

i finally found the pacesetters. for the price they look good but man those dynatech ones look so much better. but wow what a price. if i got the dynatechs i would want the y cut out of it and run into a true dual setup. has anyone in this community done this?
I have the pacesetters also and magnaflow highflow cats with the x pipe and di/do muffler. From what i understood when i bought my x-pipe it is supposed to create vaccum and sort of suck the gas out. not sure if that is true or not but it sounds good and it made a diff. in botton end. never really heard anything about h-pipes. but i would go with the x-pipe.

I installed dynatech long tubes, gained 30hp and 35ftlbs over my gibson shoties. I didnt loose any low end like some people claim. Had the old headers off and these on in 2 hours, I think its easy.

The dynatechs are nice but if you see them in person they are multiple sections of pipe welded together for each runner where as the pacesetters are a one piece section from flange to collector. For the price difference I would go with the pace setters. My system cost me just at 1K for the whole exhaust the dynatechs best price I have seen somewhere was 1295.00 then add in another 300-400 for the true dual x-pipe and mufflers and you have a very expensive exhaust. With the money saved from the pace setters you can buy a XcalII with custom tunes and AF1 intake then sell your superchips and K&N and get a little money back.
