Question 2006 FX4 wheel width

Just wondering if any of you know how wide the 06 FX4 wheels are?

7-1/2" wide.

The standard FX4 wheel is an 18" x 7.5" The optional wheel is 20" x 8.5"

. . you're telling me, but you could still fit a lot of tires on there with the correct air pressure and religious rotating.

I was thinking about putting the 305-65-18 BFGs all terrain tires on them. I dont under stand how they get 35x12.50s on those rims.

I actually have a friend with 33x13.00R18 Nitto Terra Grapplers on her FX4 and shes had them for about 30,000 miles.

The shop that did my level kit was trying to get me to put 35x12.50 mud grapplers on them. I think that well be to much tire and would rub. That is why i was thinking about the 305-65-18 BFGs.

I think 35x12.50R18 BFG M/Ts look amazing on our trucks with a 2 or 2-1/2" leveling kit/spacer!!

I was talking about a leveling kit only, a leveling kit is a spacer in all reality.

I say go with the 35 grapplers and a leveling kit. Thats my buddys setup and he only had to do minor trimming very rarely rubs

I put on Pro Comp 35's on my stock FX4 wheels, I read that I had to put in a 2.5 spacer in the front so there would be 0 rubbing issues....so I did and now it looks awsome and no problems. I would say get the spacer it only cost 80-90 bucks what the hell hah
