airbags and flex

When I finally get my off road truck finished i'm going to be doing some fairly heavy towing with my truck, on the order of 6-8,000 lbs, probably around 1-2 times a month, and probably a couple hundred miles at a time. I'm looking at either airbags or a set of helper springs to reduce the amount of sag in the rear.

I'm leaning towards airbags but I have one question on them that I haven't seen covered in the search. I do occaisionally wheel the truck and, while somewhat rare, I have maxed out the suspension. If I run the airbags how well do they match up to full suspension travel? I don't want to run the risk of ripping a bag on the trail

you're most likely not gonna rip the bag, maybe if they were old and cracked. i've only had mine for about 8 months and i really haven't flexed out the suspension off road considerin i live in a delta like area but it's has been jacked up from the frame about 5 times and that flexes the suspension to the max and i've never had a problem, i would say that as long as you let the air out before you max them out, you'll be ok

I haven't done much wheelin' with mine but I suspect they will do ok. They are built for some extremes. They say to keep 5psi in them when they are not loaded.
