I love my F150

I have the chance to drive alot of different vehicles fairly regularly.

Just a few:

2005 Silverado
2005 Toyota Avelon (sp)
1998, 2000 Ford taurus
1997 F150
2004 Ford ranger
1998 Dodge ram

and a few others... My point is every time I have to drive a different vehicle, it makes the ride in my F150 that much better than it already is. Even though I have lowered it and put low profile tires on it, the ride stiffened up alot, but it still rides better than all the above.

I know the comparison is apples to oranges, but the point is, I love my F150.

The things that stick out the most about the different vehicles are the brakes. The brakes on my truck are awesome.. even with 40k on the clock.. still stops very quickly and smoothly..

And the mirrors. I love the huge, elephant mirrors on our trucks.lol

And the looks I always get driving it. Priceless.

I agree My company uses mostly Silverados. I love it at the end of the day when i get to hop into my f150. It just seems so much more solid and stable. I do have to say it does not seem to have as much get up and go as the Silverados but the stability and the fit and finish is so much nicer.

I love my F-150 also. Love it even more since I got my exhaust. 05 F-150 reg cab STX 4X4 Flareside. When I get stuck driving my wifes Fusion, it hurts my back getting in and out of it because of how low it sits and the head room sucks. Out of all the trucks I have had, mostly Rangers and a Sport Trac, I would rather have my F-150.

Every now and again I have the urge to make a post like this. Driving my F150 just puts a stupid smile on my face. I love that truck.

I switch between my 2006 Focus zx3 5-speed (A blast to drive, but it's no f150), and my ex-gf's 2005 Acura RSX daily, and man there is no comparison.

My mom has a 2002 Yukon SLT...no comparison.

Thank you Ford!

I only get to chance to drive my F-150 during winters, but man, its so fun. I love my Mustang, but driving F-150 on the snow is more fun.

I feel the same way. I looked at A LOT of vehicles before going from my Ranger to the F150.

I looked at the Ford Edge, the Sport Trac, the WRX STI, the Tacoma, the Frontier, just to name a few...and I *almost* didn't get it because of how big it is...now when I find myself pulling in a customer's car at work, whether it be a Sport Trac, a Tacoma, or whatever...I am so glad I got the F150.

here here!! I had a minivan before I got mine. I love my truck and I love taking care of it. My wife loves it when we go cruisin' in it. Best of both worlds. Great looking woman, great looking truck. Both reliable and fun to drive.

hey ridge, are some of your pics in Murray KY? Spent many a friday night in MSU country.

The other day I was thinking about making a post like this, after having to drive my bosses 05 1500 CC Z71. I never really paid much attention the interiors of the Chevy until I was stuck driving it for a few days, WOW our trucks are nice!! And everyone talks about how peppy and what good mileage they Chevs are supposed to get. Maybe I am biased but I thought my truck was just as peppy and gets almost the exact same mileage. Heck last night my cousin and his fiance went out to eat and to a movie with my fiance and me. I had to stop and get gas, filled up the tank and figured out the mileage 15.9mpg my cousin looks at me and says "how the hell can you get better mileage than me with those big old tires and the way you drive?" , he has an 04 chevy 1500 ext cab Z71 which is bone stock and he only gets 15mpg on a good day

As much as I do want an F250/350, I do love this truck!!

I fell in love with my truck after two recent round trips to Little Rockm AK from Richmond, VA.

It's only after those 1000-plus round trip miles that I noticed what an allround quality truck these are. I could break down all the areas but, when all's said and done, the pros FAR outweighed the cons. Sure, they have their issues, but when it comes to a vehicle this size, it's nature of the beast.

I recommend anyone contemplating a long trip to most definitely do so as it'll give you a chance to really appreciate these wonderful trucks.

BTW, nice thread.

Me to !!

I had to drive the wife's mustang the 2 days my truck was in the shop and I just wasn't as comfortable and felt like I was sitting on the ground everytime I drove it. Now that I have the truck lifted I'll really feel that way if I ever have to drive her car again.
