stock 5.4 except roush offroad..if i run an aem bf intake will i get a cel?

i dont know much about the whole intake cel thing. im just wondering if i need to worry about throwing codes cuz if i do then its not even worth the hassle to me...thanks

You never know until you put it on. Different trucks react different ways. Some people can run the Airforce one and never throw a CEL but others throw one.

04's throw the cel's. 2004 model 5.4's have the inherent lean condition from the factory and are very sensitive to aftermarket intakes, hence the cel. 2005's and up don't throw the cel's from what I've read on this site.

It really depends on the truck. I have an 04 with the Brute Force and haven't thrown a code.
