Just sold my 2004 XLT screw and purchased a 2007 FXSPORT2 screw

I was very happy with my lifted 2004 screw but when I purchased the 2007 FXSPORT2 I was amazed at the difference in handling and responsiveness. The only thing I don't like are the side decals (FXSPORT2). I heard that you can heat them with a hair dryer and remove them without damage to the paint job. Has anyone tried this? Did it leave any discoloration on the paint?

I just carefully peeled the sticker that was on my truck off.....nice and slow, I didn't use anything to heat it up.

It should work fine...and doing it on a nice, sunny day makes it even easier.

I saw my first FX2 this past Sunday. Sharp looking truck! I do kind of like my chrome bumpers though because both front and rear would have needed a repaint by now (no fault of my own).
