Shake in Steering
I have a 04 Scb 4x4 and I just installed 2.5"AS and 18x9 Moto's with 33/13.50 ProComp Extreme AT's, now I have a little bit of vibration in the steering wheel. Do I need to put on a steering damper, aka steering stabalizer? It didnt have any of this vibration b/f. What do you guys think>

May sound silly, but my E-brake wasnt releasing 100% after I would use it on a few occasions. I'd start vibrations at about 45-55 and feel like the wheels were gonna just fall off. I'd make sure your E-Brakes not hanging up since they replaced your transmission they may have used it at the dealership.
I found out that's what mine was doing when I had my truck on a level P.Lot and let off the brake and she wouldnt roll forward or backwards. Put it in "N" and tried to push it... still hard as hell to push. Played with the E-Brake.. set it hard a few times, hit the release, set the brake again, put in "D" rev it up to about 1300-1500 and then hit the release. After that she started rolling on her own and no problems since then! No more vibrations either, and that was a little over a month or two ago.
Worth a shot!
