Angry Balljoints dead 55k miles

My upper ball joints are shot at 55,000 miles (I hope it wasn't becasue of the autospring), they squeek and the boots are ripped. I really dont wanna take it back to the dealer, but I cannot seem to find a replacement upper arm assembly on autozone, napa, or carquest online parts stores. Where can I get this part or how much may it cost from a ford dealer? Thanks

when i installed mine 6000 miles ago......you had to buy the whole upper arm and ran about $70 each from ford........might find it cheaper from fordparts.com or somewhere like that........just go or call the dealer and get the part number.......i have head some ppl pressing the oem balljoint out and reinstalling a greasable one.........but whatever you do..post on here cause i know i will eventually need it..........

They'll do that. I only got about 35000 out of my ball joints. Then i got rid of that damn autospring in favor of a 6" lift
