Door buzz from speaker

Just installed my Polk Audios in my truck. Sounds much better than the factory crap! However, sometimes with higher base, I get that buzz-vibration.

Any of the experts here have some good sugestions?

Install some Dynamat in the doors, that will improve the sound and kill the buzz.

Exactly.........dyanamat makes these square pieces made to put directly behind speakers in the door. I put a sheet on each side right behind the speaker and it never rattles or buzzes. Check to make sure neither of the little plastic things the speakers screw into are stripped out and loose on one side.....that is easily done on those plastic things.

Another option is to crank the stereo and walk around the truck with a screwdriver tightening up anything that rattles.

Thanks for the suggestions!

I will do the screwdriver for sure!

Where can one buy the dynamat? Would local stereo stores have it? ( I have not had time to check it out)

Thanks again for taking the time to reply

Yep, any stereo shop should have it, if not they can direct you to who does.

I got mine from crutchfield when I ordered my headunit adapter and installation stuff a while back. I think they offer free shipping too.
