Part Numbers for the OEM Mark LT HIDs...

I got an email back from the dealership again and they assured me that they knew what they were talking about and that they were factory HID headlight housings available for the Mark LT. These are the part numbers that Ken Smith Lincoln Mercury in Ridgewood, NJ gave me for the Mark LT HID headlights....7L3Z13008CA & 7L3Z13008DA. He said they were $240 each plus shipping. I am just relaying what I was told by them...I cant personally verify this.

I have only talked to them through email about the HIDs, but if anybody wants to call them and dig a little deeper their number is (201) 444-2200. If you do call though please post what you find out so they arent bombarded with calls. They seem to be good people...they are the ones I got my LTs parts from.

Just an FYI before anyone rushes to place an order for these. After calling my dealership and doing some extensive research, those part numbers are NOT for Lincoln Mark LT HID headlights, they are for the 2007 FX2. They are grey background and NOT HID. Pic attached below.

Agreed.
What you need are the 7L3Z-13008-AA and the 7L3Z-13008-BA

Not sure what exactly you are looking for but simply buying the HID housing will not make your truck have HID lights.

You might want to do a bit more research on the LT setup as the bulb may be different than what is in the F 150's. If that is the case you won't even be able to get your factory bulb into the housing.

HID systems use ballast, that the F-150 is not equipped with, much like a flurescent house light does.

You will need to get the LT housings for about $500 and then spend another $250 or so on a nice HID kit that will retain both high and low beam lights to have true HID lights.

I think what is up for debate here, is the fact that no one can say with any certainty IF the Lincoln Mark LT even has an HID option. AFAIK, there is no option to get HID lights on a Mark LT, but I have been wrong many a time, so don't take my word for it.

This is c/p from Ford catalog text. There is only one set of Lincoln LT Listings
Also, checking the shop manual, there did not appear to be any wiring diagrams for an HID system.

I think most of us know that...the issue is finding a HID housing that will work with our trucks. All the home made ones....or I should say, most of the home made ones offer very poor cut off lines and blind on coming drivers. So the hope is that there is a simple bolt in husing that will allow us to add HIDs to our trucks...even if it is a $1K by the time its all said and done.
