Specials on F150?? $10,000 off??

Hey,
Is there some sort of sales blitz going on for F- series trucks from now until the end of the month? The reason I ask is, I received an e-mail from the local Ford dealer I get my truck serviced at. They are saying they can give me an awesome trade in value for my truck, 0 % financing and an unbeatable deal on a new one. However, I would have to come in before the 31st of this month. That started to make me think about looking into it, this was yesterday.
Today I am watching TV and I see a commercial for a different Ford Dealer and it says $10,000 of any new 07 F-series trucks, but the sale ends on 03/31. So what is going on, they are making me want to go get a new truck. Come on, $10,000 off, that means you could get a fully loaded FX4 for like $31,000 r even less, there has to be a catch. I am thinking this is probably for a lease or somthing, right? Have any of you heard anything? I am in Austin, TX.

If they're offering 10k off, I'm going to be pissed. I just got mine Monday and got 3500 cash back. 10k is a lot of money to be taking off.

You should be able to negotiate 10k off the sticker. I did that last month on my 07 XLT Screw.

But regardless of how great of a deal you get on a new truck, you're still going to get rapped on your trade-in.

Seeing that some of you hagglers are walking out with loaded fx4's for 25 and 26k, makes me wish I bought new without 40k on the odo. There are some deals to be had I bet it's true.

When I got my STX a month ago I got $6000 off sticker. Dealer had a Presidents Day special for the last two weeks in February where they were giving $6k off. Which was double rebate. It was a better deal than we could have got on the X-plan.

Yesterday I saw a $10,000 off MSRP ad for a local dealer in the newspaper.
Last week the same dealer was advertising $7,000 off MSRP.

Well, mine stickered at 35,500...I think the invoice was 32,000...then they took 3500 off that which is 28,500. Then add in tax and everything, I'd say I got a good deal, but not 10 grand off.

Do you not get all applicable rebates in addition to the X-Plan? I thought you did!

Not a lease. They need to make the sales before the end of the 1st quarter.

Well I might just have to go up to these dealerships and see what they are talking about. Yeah but I will not be making any deals if they try to screw me on my trade. I am happy with my truck, but for a really go deal, I would be happier in a new 07.

If is true let them know you might have someone interested. If is true please let me know, if I have to go to TX I will.

I order one but I'm not getting it, I had a few issues with the stealer and I'm loosing my 1K deposit.

I don't want to give them my bussines.

Someone said they closing their first quater? They might want to give me a better price then

Several dealers down here in the Houston area are currently advertising $12,000 off MSRP on any 2007 F-150 in their inventory. They did the same thing for much of the spring last year. I just checked this morning's paper and the ads are still in there. I don't see getting $10k off sticker on most trucks (combination of rebates and dealer discount) as any great challenge right now.....
