search for 'do i have audiophile?' or anything 'audiophile' that should get you on the right track
but for what its worth, if you lift up your rear seat (drivers side) and look at the carpet, there should be a cut where the wiring harness would come into the cab... if you don't have the audiophile option, chances are you wont find the harness- in 04-05 a handful of trucks on the boards had the harness even though they didn't have the audiophile package... since 05, if you didn't order audio. you don't get the wiring harness.

Man, I am in the same situation as you. I called Ford and they said that only 06-07 trucks that had the premium audio system had the sub plug in the rear. All trucks have the plug up front.

I have read the thread the shows were it is at but, I can give you an easy way to tell. Look under your rear driver side seat. Find the 2-3" slit in the carpet. Stick your fingers in there 3-4" back and feel for a plastic screw in the floor panel. If you have the rear harness it will be attached with a clip to the screw. If you feel just the screw, you do not have the harness.

Like I said the dealership said you had to have the 6CD premium HU or the audiophile HU from the factory to have the rear harness. I had the single CD player.

Try these threads. The harness in the back goes dead into the main harness somewhere down the line.

One of those threads has the pin out diagram. Many people have bought the connectors from Ford and made their own harness. I decided it wasn't worth it and bought an aftermarket Probox and sub and ran line out connectors from my original CD player. I listed my audiophile HU on Ebay if anyone wants to look at for purchase.

Fuse #38 in kickpanel is subwoofer power fuse. Also would be interested in knowing how the 06 wiring is different than the 04? If you want to keep it noise free shielded is the way to go but I imagine standed will work
