Black Halo lights on a BLACK truck...

Ok...you all seen the lights on other threads but I just bought some and put them on my truck which is black. The installation was easy, plug and play. Here are some pictures. The HID kit has not come yet so I dont have HID installed yet.

I like them but I am kinda not sure yet. I think if I had black bumpers they would look good, I think now the bumpers just look out of place. But ill keep them on for now, maybe they will grow on me. I cant wait for the HID's also...The lights look really good, they look just like a Range Rover projector. I like. One quesiton, does your Halo ring take a while to "warm up" before it comes on?

Please get some higher res pics from a tad farther away. Everyone seems to avoid the one "mega shot" that would end this debocle of whether or not these lights look good. They don't look too bad in your photos however.

Yeah... I'm really glad I went with the Chrome on my black truck. The Halo Black just looks a little too Euro... the chrome, IMO, helps conceal some of that Euro look...

Oh well... maybe my replacement set will come. The tracking number that was provided isn't working with Fedex's system...

Word of advice to everyone getting these lamps -- PUT A BEAD OF RTV AROUND THE SEAM BETWEEN THE CLEAR PLASTIC AND THE BLACK PLASTIC!!!

... but, if you do obtain the 'mega shot' (good grief that sounds pornographic)... DO NOT post it here unless you use your f150online.com gallery. Enormous (or even 'mega') photos are not permitted within the forums.

Something head on in high res, from at least 10-15 ft back. And then again close up in daylight, high res. And then another slightly offset from head on. It's hard to get an idea of what these headlights look like on the truck with the current posted pics. Thanks DTheobald.

I can't get any pics until tomorrow... But I will take some pics... I am at work and I don't get off work until 9.30pm tonight... I'll get every angle possible... High Res I will email if you want... don't want the webmasters mad... I already posted 800x600 with most my pics and it takes awhile to load up some of my posts... but I know people want to see clearer and bigger pics....
