Truck Weight

I have been searching for curb weights but cant find them. I am debating on a Fx4 supercab or supercrew. Does anyone know the weight difference between the 2?

I think it is around 300 to 400 lbs. difference. The Crew being heavier. My Super Crew weighs 5,800 lbs with a full tank of gas.

Shipping weight on the MSO for my 07 supercab was 5248 with 5 gallons of gas or roughly 5450 with a full tank of gas. The 5800 mentioned for a crew, was that from a scale or just an estimate. The 3-400 pound difference sounds about right.

svt2205,

The weight I quoted is for my SCREW with the 5.5' bed. I weighed it going in to get a load of gravel.

Why would the curb weight have a decision on what truck you want to buy?

I am debating on a supercab or a supercrew. So I was wondering how much lighter the truck would be if I got the supercab (better mpg/better power) or supercrew (better ride for friends/better resale)

Mine weighs the same...weight when entering the landfill was 7,280 lbs. (cut down a dead tree) with a full tank, NOT including me...weight leaving was 5800 lbs...before wheels and tires.
