Drivers window Wont go back up 04 SC

2004 Lariat SC
I did a search but didnt find anything useful. I rolled down my window, heard something pop, then it wouldnt go back up. I have the door panel off right now and have been trying to figure it out. it looks like the cable on the motor spool is not right, but I cant tell.
There does not seem to be anything broken at all.
Does anyone have a diagram of the power window system so i can figure out how this thing works? Advice is always good too. Thanks ya'll

Window regulators are notorious for going bad and not allowing the window to roll up, but the "pop" you heard is interesting.

will it move at all? A few months ago the window track on mine broke causing the window to get in bind. It would go up slow then sometime stop due the motor shutting off(apparenlty getting hot) then a few minutes later it would work again(still very slow but enough to finish going up).

Yes it moves fine up and down manually. I have heard of the binding track problem before.
Thanks for the responses everyone. I found that the cable was all wrapped around the motor spool and it broke one of the plastic pieces(I guess the regulator?) . I'll be headed to the dealer tomorrow morning. The Truck only has 13000 miles on it so its covered under warranty.

I had the motor replaced on my passenger side rear window about a year ago...the truck was only 1 year old at the time.

Now, my driver's side front window is acting up...sometimes the button doesn't seem to work...I push it and nothing happens, then let go and push it again and it works.

Anybody have any ideas on this?

Yep mine does that too. if it is very quiet out I can usually hear something ticking inside the door when it acts up. I'll take it to the dealer one of these days...probably not for a while though. If you get it taken care let me know what how so that i can give the dealer a heads up. Thanks

Same in my old 2004. Looks like a well known problem.
