I live in Michigan and I dont know if I should get an FX2 or a 4x4 pickup. I really like the FX2's but is 2wd gonna be alright. I hate to get one and then it sucks and i get burried all the time.

 

I don't live in Michigan, but I will say get the 4x4 man. As much as I love my FX2, if I had to choose between it and an FX4, I would get the FX4 hands down.

Ya I probobaly will. I know you can order a lease. But does it cost more to order a lease or do you have to put x amount of dollers down before they will order it or something? I want an FX4 but they never have any on the lots at my dealer. I want the flow through console but only Scab.

 

i have an 07 FX2, i do love it...but yes i would have gotten an FX4 if i had to do it all over again

Hey...where in Michigan are ya from???? I'd say get the FX4...roads get way to dicey at times here. There's been many times that I've been in 4WD and still had the major pucker factor going on while driving to work. At least with 4WD...I know I can get to where I want/need to go...even after a major snowstorm. You can't control the other morons out on the road who think they can still do 60-70 MPH just because they too have 4WD, but once you are familiar with your truck's ability to handle the many different conditions that can exist during a typical Michigan winter you'll wonder how you ever got along without it. Of course there will be the guys that will tell you..."I've driven all of my life with only 2 wheel drive trucks and have never gotten stuck". But I say.... if you are gonna join an *** kicking contest...would you only want to use one foot or two???

 

Ask your dealer to do a dealer search for the truck that you want. That's what I did when I got my 06. They found the exact truck that I wanted at another dealer here in WI and did a dealer trade (06 F150 for an 06 Mustang GT).
