More like 6k-8K for me. I use Mobil 1 fully synthetic motor oil. Always have and always will. I also use the Motorcraft oil filter and I haven't had a problem yet. This may be stretching it but I have had good luck and no problems. I check my oil as I drain it and it is not sludgy or anything.

My owners manual says every 5k. So I change my oil every 4 to 5k. I keep all the receipts just in case I ever need them.

7500 miles, running Mobil 1 as well and the Motorcraft filter. Ford says 5,000 miles using a blend so another 2500 miles on a fully syntehtic oil is not stretching it. My Mini Cooper S has the oil changed every 10,000 miles with fully synthetic.

Did my first change before 3000 miles because it had been on the dealer lot for 9 months when I got it and I wanted to switch to Mobil 1. Haven't done the second one yet but it looks like I will go out on time before the mileage, but most likely 5000.

Between every 10-11,000 miles. I run Mobile 1 and a motorcraft filter too. You can argue that it should be done more often (and I wouldn't agree) but I am not going to own the truck in its twilight years anyway...so as long as the engines good for 80,000 miles I dont care about it after that.

I used to go 10K in my last truck, but I drive the hell outta this one so I try to do it around 8K. But I never had a problem running Mobile 1 full synthentic at 10K changes. I used good filters just to be sure.

Right now every 3k, but am using up my free oil changes from my dealership.

After they run out I will be switching to full synthetic and then lengthening it out a little bit. Plan to have this truck a long time so no sense slacking on basic up-keep.
