New to the forum
and to owning a 2004 STX f50.
Im looking to put in some K&N filters but they asked me if it was metric or not.
How do i tell if its one or the other?
Also i just wanted to say that this forum has been a great help to me in deciding to get my truck.

Welcome to the site and congrats on the new truck. Are you talking about the oil filter on the 4.6L V8? If so then I just got under the truck and looked right before going back into the store. I don't know if there is some other way of telling but I am sure someone on here can tell you.

Yes the oil filter for sure. The air filter is the cone so no biggie.
I guess once i figure out the oil filter i will know on all the other stuff which id need to buy.
I cant wait to get to doing some fixing up the truck. It doesnt have a whole lot of miles for a 04. 23000 and the thing looks brand new.
