Shock Recommendations

The reason I am posting in this forum is to avoid the Heritage mis-information. I have a 2004 New Body Style 4x2 F150 5.4 3V that is not lifted and I do not go off road. I would like to replace the shocks with something similar to the Edelbrock IAS or Rancho RSX neither of which are made for the newer F150. My interest in these specific models is the damping method which helps to prevent a harsh ride. What are your recommendations for better performing shocks that can also provide a ride with less harshness?

Not more than a few weeks after I bought my truck (new), I switched out the shocks for Bilstein's at all 4 corners. My truck is also a stock 2wd. I wouldn't say that the ride is any harsher, but it's much more controlled, especially when traveling over a bumpy road or cornering.
