tru story, the 4wd shocks are and inch taller than the 2wd

 

I have 4x4 shocks/strut assembly up front with a GF 2 inch drop coil. do you think i can buy 2wd front shocks/strut assembly from the dealer and put my 4x4 GF drop shock in there and then have a 3 inch drop, that would give my truck a nice raked look making the front just a little lower than the rear!

 

technically you should be able to, considering i'm 2wd with 4wd shocks and a belltech 2" drop coil, HOWEVER I do not have a 4wd and I have not tried this so I'm not liable for any rubbing, clearence issues ore damage

I cant wait to get these 2wd belltechs in with the 2" drop coil

before doing anything its probably best to measue from the bottom coil perch to the top of the shock bushing. my 4wd struts are 8 inches and the 2wd struts are 7

 

Yes they are. I have the procomp coilover kit for my 2wd and I cranked my 2wd coilovers all the way up to get a nice stance. The ride was super harsh, so I went to 4wd procomp coilovers and actually cranked them down a little bit now my truck sits just as high and the ride is like a Cadillac.

 

ya i'm hoping that I can get rid of the oem 4wd shock/2in drop coil setup for the 2wd bilstien/2" coil setup and not only lose an inch but gain some ride comfort
