Lift quote, how's it sound?

I got a quote for an RCD lift, American Racing Teflon Mojaves (18"s), and Toyo M/Ts (35"s) for $5750 (installed). Is that a decent price?

Thanks.

Well I will tell you this. Yesterday I ordered the following;

6" basic Fabtech lift with 5" blocks for the rear
4 Helo Maxx 6 18x9 wheels
4 Pro Comp Xtreme AT's (35x12.50r18 buy 3 get 1 free)
7" Pro Comp driving lights for my Westin Bull Bar
Xcal II w/Troyer tunes
AF1 intake

All of that PLUS installation, alighment & tax and I still paid way less than what you were quoted. I don't know what type lift you are getting or the difference in prices of your wheels/tires as compared to mine, but the price quote you got sure seems high to me.

I Forgot to mention that one of the co-owners of the shop is going to a vendors show this weekend in Atlanta and he knows he can get me the lift kit for less than he sold it to me yesterday. He actually called to see what kind of deals Fabtech would be giving at the show this weekend, but they wouldn't reveal anything other than they would be really good. So he said he would knock some off the final price after he purchases the kit this weekend, but he had to put a price on my order sheet yesterday.

You ought to see if any of your local vendors are going to the same show and if they can cut you a better deal. Good luck.

henkyjenky-
when i was pricing around the RCD quotes were in the 2500 ball park, toyo mts (35x12.5R18's) should be 1200-1500 max- the teflons should be around 180-200 ish a piece- so right there you're sitting at about 4600..factor in taxes and you're around 5k, factor in 500-750 for install and you're right there at 5700-

the rcd is definitely a pricey kit, but from all the reading I've done, they seem to be rock solid- hi end equipment...

Seems about right for the pieces you're getting, maybe $100 or $200 high but thats it.

Thanks guys , the shop seems pretty good too. http://www.sdhqoffroad.com/

I'll get at least two more quotes, but it's good to know they are in the ballpark.
