I kinda like the brake light i have because i switched out the lights and put leds in there... here are a couple shots of the brake light... although tinting it would make the light output worse...

did you put in LED bulbs or put in the led lights?

I mean did you use premade LED bulbs that is just a plug and play or is it the LEDS that you have to wire up and solder stuff.

I want to put some LED's back there too. What bulb did you buy? Does it help light up the bed at all or are they just for looks. This could be my next mod!

The led bulbs are just replacement bulbs... no soldering or anything... just pop them in... I got them from V-Leds.com too... Here is a link to the type of bulb and the color..

The led's that are in my turn signals and reverse tail lights are these

http://frickinbrite.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=42_105

But you also have to get the resistors so you don't have hyper flashing or no flashing at all... Here are the resistors...

Just to let you know if any of you guys plan to do the leds in the head lights or tail lights i have four extra resistors that I accidentally bought from v-leds.com..... Though I had to buy four but didn't read that there were two per package...

All in all I have about $200 in leds on my truck... And i love every one of them

I like the look of them and the light output in the bed of my truck... to be honest I don't use the bed of the truck like you guys probably do... I just have a stroller back there... no tools or anything so I don't need that much light back there... but I do have a video of the tail lights on and me looking in the bed... its brighter in person but you get the idea... and sorry its such a short video...
