I have been thinking about getting some myself? I think if they are painted to match they look pretty cool. I like the look of the wider stance. But you need to have the rims stick out as far. My truck isnt lifted except for a leveling kit. I still use my truck for work. But in winter it might look a bit odd sice I will put my stock wheels on for winter.
Im curious what size rims to go with? Not sure if I will stick with 17's or go with 18's? I like the Bushwacker smooth fender flares.

Only if you are...

I would only put them on if your going to be putting bigger tires on later, otherwise they will dwarf your tires you have now. IMHO

No flares on that one...

On your truck, I'd do no flares...I'm only on board for flares when the wheels/tires stick out. The wheels and tires that I'm getting ready to put on my truck stick out pretty good. I just got Bushwacker Pocket Style flares back from the paint booth, installed the rivets and weather gasket tonight...hopefully will get them, the wheels, and tires installed tomorrow.

I like the clean looking smooth flares (Bushwacker Extend-A-Fender or Xenon), but the Pocket Style flares from Buswacker look pretty cool too. They look really aftermarket, but I'm okay with that.

Your truck looks good now. If your tires stuck out more I'd say get the flares.

So if I were to get flares what size rims should I get first? I am not sure if I want 17's or 18's yet? But what width and backspacing would make them stick out as far as the flares?

Sorry I couldn't get back to you before now, my computer was dead. Mine is just painted with some Krylon Fusion Gloss Black.

I saw a black truck close too mine in lift and tire hieght and it made the truck look bad *** - it also gave the appearance of a larger lift...but he was a few inches lower than me - but after i pay a few bills - deff. getting the pocket stylr flares....
