This weekend i have set aside some time to install the mods that have been sitting around the shop

The bug has bitten me if you all know me from the mustang and the harley forums, so lets get this party started....i want input and suggestions

It seems like you have several parts there that will clash....Mark LT reflectors and HD Taillights??? You know to look right you need Mark LT tailights because the stick out further...you can get by with F150 lights if your cheap but they aren't right. But being the HD lights are tinted and the reflectors arent...I dont think they will match at all. Not to mention I didnt see anywhere that you plan to add the LT filler panel. I dont think you can add the reflectors without it because you will have to remove the F150 badge for the reflector and there is a mounting hole behind it that the panel would cover.

As for the rest of the stuff...well all I can say is the chrome A pillar covers are just plain tacky. But its your truck and if you like them go for it....but more is not always better.

 

Thanks for the comment but i have already crossed that bridge i am going to fill the hole in the tailgate and i am going to tint the reflctors to match also!

The apillars look tacky on all the ones but white i wish i could get someone to photoshop the chromes onto my truck in the gallery! If you know how or who can let me know before i buy them tonight!

 

Well it turned out great and the the hole is covered i will post pics in a few mins..... I also bought an extra set of the tails and the reflectors and i think i am going to start putting them on my website if i buy them in bulk and do a how to article on the set up so if u are interested in them let me know !

What is your concept or vision? Lifted, sport truck, work truck?

 

lol that looks like a work truck that wants to be a offroad truck that secretly was a sport truck in a past life, building a "show" truck takes more tha just buying a lot of cool parts. ya need a theme, lumadar is a perfect example of a street/luxury theme truck for example

 

lol i get what you are daying but who said anything about a theme? or a show truck believe me i have proved myself on the show circuit and design circuit i have nothing to prove in that part i have 100 plus wins and many magazines to prove it and more! I built this truck for me and to my specs i mixed what i like and it's use is for everyday not just one purpose! But thanks for the comments and opinions!

 

It's difficult to believe that you have over 100 plus wins (assuming at car shows) and been featured in "many magazines" and then built the truck pictured above. That looks like just totally random parts bought and slapped on what use to be a good looking truck. I know that different people have different taste, but if you've actually won shows and been featured in magazines (not just the "readers rides" section) then you would not have put together a truck that looks like that.

 

I came to this post thinking you were going to do some sweet mods... I was disappointed.

Other than that the truck looks good; just agree with the previous post's about the tail lights. I think it appears clutterd and a person who has won so many awards probably would have thougt that through.

Ill call BS on your awards unless proven otherwise.

Difficult as it may seem i am just as normal as anyone but i come here to get away from the competive crap on the show and mustang sites! I like my truck and i has a lot of mis matched stuff on it but Damn i thought that this site might be a place where people were nice and enjoyed a hobby. I build my cars and trucks to my specs and i always will. The truck is a mixture and a bit confused but that is what makes it mine as for my rep. i dont have to prove myself anymore but if you want to call me out and say "BS" i can back up anything i say so just pick up this months issue of Muscle Mustangs and Fast fords (the one with the orange mustang on the cover) the blue sr500m1 thats me and then go back to last march's issue the red sr500 me again and i can name about 3 more 5.0, Mustang enthusist, Mustang Illustrated and all of these are feature articles!!! Reader rides is for people who can't cant get a feature. If you would like a full list of all show won and all my other information i can post it. Look on the website you can see a few pics there also. Being new here and respected on many other boards you all really know how to make someone want to leave!!!! I may just delete my account and all my post since if i am not welcome here.
