I need a new front bumper, right now mines a 04 f150 fx4 super crew, it has the rectangular headlights, since im getting a new bumper, I like the round fog lights better, Can I make those style of bumpers fit on my truck? I heard they wont, thanks!

 

The wiring is different cause they use a different bulb.....I know FX4&EXCURSION has done this but I haven't seen him online in forever.

 

All the brackets attaching the bumper to the truck are different. I have the old ones from FX&E, either 4 or 6 of them need be replaced. Probably $100 to 150 for the new ones would be my guess.

 

i would like to know what it takes also, i plan on upgrading this spring.

 

Do a search on "front bumper swap" and you'll find the thread that lists the parts required to do it. I have a 05-06 chrome front bumper with fog lights and a chin spoiler off of a 07 FX2 that I'm going to install once I get the brackets. Hopefully by the end of this month I can post back on here what all is necessary. The upper bumper pad is different, but I understand it will work correctly. The bumper brackets are different but I'm told that they will bolt up to the frame horns correctly. BTW, the chin spoiler I mentioned above will fit an 04-06 bumper as well as I lined it up to my 04 bumper and the 06 bumper I'll be swapping to.
