Installed Mark LT mirrors on XLT, but...

the signal lights on mirrors do not work! I thought the XLT was prewired like the Lariat for the signal mirrors. What else am I supposed to do for them to flash?

Thanks.

Did a couple more searches on "mirror signals" and "Mark LT mirrors" and did find that the signals should work. So, what do I do? Is there a fuse to be added?

I had to get replacement mirror glass for my Expedition that had the arrow in it. The inserts were plug and play and easy to do but in the instructions it said that if had a non signal mirror from the factory you had to take off the door panel and do something there.

Maybe it's the same for the F-150?

Don't have any pics yet. If you're not familiar with them, the ebay listing below shows what one looks like. I bought one off ebay and the other from a salvage yard. I asked a lot of questions before buying them because I wanted them as close to new as possible. Needless to say, both mirrors are in like new condition. Total cost was $270 for both. Figure I saved some beer money.

I'm not 100% certain but I believe you may need a relay to make those work. I seem to remember reading something to that effect awhile back from someone here that did that same mod.
