chrome looking (stock?) tailights

Ok i have seen probably around 4 or 5 F150's 2004+ driving around and they have these AWESOME looking tail lights. They look stock, not aftermarket. On the bottom side they have like a peice of plastic chrome (dullish) that wraps round to the back ad the frame of the whole assembly is in chrome as well. I saw one in a parking lot the other and debated leaving a note on his windsheild but i didn't have my phone or paper/pen.

So now the hunt is on....i NEED this tail lights! Please post pics or links of anything that sounds remotely like what i saw.

Thanks guys, i know you can find them!

I saw a red FX4 at my friend's detail shop the other day that had those tailights and matching headlights. They might look okay on a different truck but they looked like assss on a red FX4 with no other chrome on it.

I believe those are just tail light covers not a full replacement lamp. I know putco makes them and they make a set for the head lights also.

didn't know about the headlamp covers. Not too keen tho jsut thinking.

The product code for these are 401805 by putco, if anyone has a link to the headlights cover's i wouldn't mind taking a look.

i think they will look good on my blue truck with other chrome.

Here is a link to a site that sells all of the Putco chrome pieces..just scroll down towards the bottom and you will see the head light trim.

I actually thought about putting them on my truck also since I now have the putco mirror and door handle trim pieces that I have to put on this spring...If you do them let us know how they turn out..

To each his own. Not my cup of tea, but don't let someone else's opinion or taste force you away from something you really like. It's your truck, and thus should be your style. That's the best part of customizing, there are so many options and with a little searching you'll find exactly what suits you and maybe even something unique.

I found these and then work with someone to modify them and have the upper LED array work every function that the lower LED celis bars do and I LOVE them. Just like the Infiniti FX35/45 taillights.

Not bad. I'm not too keen on the LED tails on a truck though. I think these covers are the so nice. And F150 Duke said it best my truck my style. Thanks for helping me hunt down the headlamp covers. I dunno about those. I was thinking the eyelids from moss motorsports so i have a bit less spread with HIDs...
