Haha, actually a sporty haul *** 2x4 is what I wanted in the first place, but cant find any, plus 4x4 wouldnt be bad to have around here. I figure if Im going with a 4x4 why not go with the FX4 and make it look a little off-road.

Giorgio, that is nice, I like that stance. Im a fan of a little smaller wheels on an offroad rigs, but that gives me a nice idea.
Where did you get the springs? I didnt know they made them even. Or is it a block?

Looking good though fellers, I really appreciate all the pictures

Lookin' good guys! Those are some sweet looking regular cabs. Let me ask the people who live with this, how do you all feel about those little doors Ford put on there? I personally like the fact that Ford gave the reg cab some usable storage and an easy way to access it. I think your trucks have more storage then my Supercab. I've read alot of comments from people that don't like it.

Would it be a mistake if Ford went back to a normal cab as it looks like they might for '09?

I like the little doors and the added space. I traded an '87 Ranger SuperCab and was going to get a supercab just for the added space, but I did not need the extra seats or the extra length. The regular cab fit my needs much better and was less expensive.

If you have a black FX4 all the better.

I was thinking of a leveling kit with 33's maybe...just cant picture it in my head though.

Anyway, just chime in if you have a reg. cab at all

Thanks fellers
I think this is what you wanted to see

i know what u mean... a while back i took my truck to the NC mountains and found myselfb trying to go up steep grades on snow packed roads. i BARELY made it to my destination without getting stuck or winding up in a ditch.

if i had to do it all over again, i probably wouldve preferred a 4x4. i still wouldve dropped it and blown it though

One of the reasons I bought my new 150 is because of the little doors and added space. You can sit in your cab reclined and listening to the stereo. I also feel a bit safer knowing there is some space behind me in case of being rear ended. I think the longer reg cab looks a bit awkward with a short bed. Looks more natural with a long bed (which I have). A long bed is a pita, though.

I love the little doors too, it was the deciding factor for me. My gf has a 00 reg cab longbed and I have an 05. Mine is so much easier to get behind the seats and the extra room back there is all I need inside the cab. I also looked at scabs and they just felt a little funny, too much empty space behind me, too car-ish or suv-ish. The screws were even worse, just my two pennies worth.

Need to get her cleaned up and updated pics...

Here is mine. I also like the little doors. The regular cab was all i needed and the little doors provide great access.

I love the look of the regular cab with the long box. Those are sweet, a true truck.
