Has anyone installed a Mark LT style grill?

I'd like to add this type grill on my truck, but only come across grilles that include the surround in chrome. Wondering if someone has replaced there grill and kept the factory painted surround? These are two grills that I've found. I contacted one of the sellers and asked, if the grill was a two piece. Seller said that it looked to be a two piece, but would not recommend seperating it. I know I could go with the factory Mark LT grill, but I don't want the Lincoln emblem.

Thanks.

If they are made the same as the real ones then the surrounds can be separated. You just have to be real careful that you don't break too many clips when you are trying to get it off.

A few on here have done it, try doing a search. RoushMarkLT is one that comes to mind, I think that is the name.

"05RoushMarkLT" (red supercrew) has the Lincoln grill. I've already done a few searches but found no info on Mark LT style grilles without the emblem. I'll do a little more digging and maybe contact the ebay sellers for more info.

Thanks again.

Mark LT = Lincoln

RamSS/T has the chrome surround on his CW grill and the black surround on his LT grille.

Yeah, that had me confused, but then I figured out, he is wanting a Mark LT "like" grill, not the real thing. I went back and reread his first post.

Same thought I had, but the first ebay listing grill looks better than the second. Might be the pic? I assume the Mark LT grill is also an ABS plastic that is chrome plated.

Well I bought the grill and finally installed it after it sat in my garage a few weeks! Swapped the surrounds like I wanted to beforehand. The swap was not bad, broke 2 clips. The top clips were loose but the grill snugged-up when I installed the whole assembly. The quality is great IMO, have not seen a Mark LT grill to compare it up close. So, here's pic...

Mine is a real Lincoln grille with a HD Grille shell. It was easy to seperate the grille from the shell...I have done it quite a few times.

I think I like it better with the emblem. I purchased mine as a PTM (paint to match) from a ford dealership. I could have separated the chrome insert and just attached it to my FX4 grille, but I had a bunch of other parts painted as well, so I just threw it in with the batch.

The center of your grille looks as if it is missing something. It's too large of a block of chrome in my opinion, but all in all it looks better than the standard F150 grille.

I too thought it was missing something before I bought it. Obviously it's the LT emblem, but I didn't want to rebadge as an LT. I'm thinking of adding a custom billet piece for the middle and replace all F150 emblems with custom badges. Working on the design...
