Winding Road has spy shots of the new 2009 F150.



Although you can't see much from the test mule, the 3-bar chrome grill is obvious behind the cladding. Looks great.




There are also some shots of a traditional cab with no space behind the driver, but -- again -- these are mules, so that may/may not ever be released.





It also appears that these new F150 are wearing 7-lug wheels. I wonder if this is "standard" or maybe a Heavy Duty F150.

Nice! Thanks for posting this, Ive been looking. Anyone think a diesle is in store for 09? Somethings in the works with 7 lugs! I really cant believe Im already wanting a new truck, I mean, I kind of just got mine (10/03). Is it too soon? The only thing I hope it doesnt have is those nasty big freakin headlights like the Super Dutys.

I'm thinking they are testing it because if you look at the new dash in the pics, the tac only goes to 5000 RPM. There's also D 3 2 1 which tells me that it's mostly likely going to have a 5 or 6 speed tranny.

 

I hope not, I hate that front end. It looks rediculous in my opinion.
