Your crazy....that's a 45 REAR WHEEL HP gain. Figure the truck makes 210ish from the factory, 45HP would be a little better than a 20% increase. Not bad for basicaly a tune, CAI and Exhaust.

Also since its all basic bolt ons you can spend $2K on the kit...run it on your truck for a couple years then when you sell your truck take it off and you should still be able to easily get $1,250-$1,500 for it on Ebay. So it would really only cost you about $500 to have it. Thats the way I do all my mods and I almost always get around 75-80% of my money back when I sell them.

How much would this whole setup cost to be installed, since i am a chick I doubt I know how to install the headers let alone have the tools for it, although I am willing to learn I would need a helper. I need a shop here in town to call my own...

The most difficult thing to install will be the headers. I think that you have to unbolt and lift the motor up an inch or two to get them in there. I think I have heard of people taking 8+ hours to install headers. So that would probably be the most costly thing to install the other componets take 45 minutes at the most to install. And for the tuner I don't know if I would go with their tuner becuse you can get a lot more features with the EDGE or something. But I just might be biased to the Edge.

If you can wait a couple months until I am back in Vegas I would be more than willing to help you!

In all seriousness though, I know RouschMarkLT lived in Vegas for a while and I am sure you could recommend a good reputable shop for you. If not I could talk to some of my friends over at Shelby Automotive (out by the Las Vegas Motor Speedway) and see if they have a shop they would recommend...they could do it but I am sure they would cost way more than its worth (you would have to pay for the Shelby name!)

Yeah but the thing is the Edge programmer is a canned tune that is not specifically designed to work with any certain parts. I am sure on the other hand this tuner has a program designed to work with these specific Bank's parts. Bank's IMO is one of the top name's in performance products...certainly in performance TRUCK products, so I would think they know what they were doing. So if I was going to go with all the other pieces I would definitely use their tuner.

Ya your right I never thought of it that way. It probably would be a good idea to get something that was designed specifically for those parts.

2k for 45rwhp kinda high no? what about 112rwhp or maybe 145rwhp with a Roush supercharger, whipple or anyother supercharger combo? that right there makes more sense if already spending 2k for a mediocre increase whats another 3k on top of that for more rwhp gains and having a supertruck lol.

Just another $3K...well $2000/45HP=$44.44 per HP & $5000/112HP=$44.64 per HP. Kind of a wash if you ask me.

Has anybody seen a true 145HP with just a $5K out of the box SC install???? If so thats $34.48 per HP...pretty slick deal I guess. Its hard to imagine a simple bolt on out of the box SC giving you a 65% increase in HP when 50% is the norm.

Well I am thinking once I get the cc paid off, I have a 2500 limit, so I would probably put it all back on the cc... I don't want a supercharger because I plan to lift the truck. No sense making a fast truck than can flip in a second while making a turn... I want a nice sounding, little extra horsepower, reliable truck... Plus I want all the guys to look and go, Damn I want that (even if they are looking at the truck or me, )

I know you guys mix Beer with working on the truck, but don't do too hard a liquor... haha I had a couple shots and finished with some malibu and orange juice... Lets just say after fishing out the loose light bulb inside the head light housing... I will save the drinks til after the work on the truck is done haha... It was fun though... here is the finished result... New LED's from V-Leds.com

Have to confirm with my boyfriend on that one... And if the money is flowing, let the assembly begin...

Yeah...the BF might not like it too much, but hey what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! But that may not help much if you stay there too!

Actually we fly it because its way too far to drive, but most of the mods in my sig have changed anyway. I think the overlays ran me like $50 for the front and back. Here are current pics of my truck in its latest incarnation:

. . you can't get overlays unless you switch to 04-05 emblems.
