My wife's 2006 Expedition 4X2 easily smokes my 2005 FX4 SCrew. Both have 5.4L and 3.73 gears. The Expedition's tranny shifts through 1st/2nd/3rd a heck of a lot quicker and smoother than my F-150 does. For a big vehicle, the Expedition gets up and goes.
