Need a quick answer before I leave work

I am about to head to Autozone when I leave work to pick up some headlights and foglights. Are these the Silverstars I am looking for, H13s and 9005s?

H13's are correct and 9145's are the direct replacements for your fogs. However, there seem to be a number of folks who run 9005's with no issues.

9145's are a direct replacement... 9005 works.. and they're brighter, but they don't last as long. I have been through two sets, and have now settled on 9145's.

Be carefull about the 9005's because they can burn the plastic lens cover on your fogs and they are too bright to use anyway. If you need that extra bright light, just do the high-beam/fog light mod which I did, or buy some off-road lights. I wouldn't take the chance. The 914st really make a big difference from stock anyway. I love mine.

I got the H13STs and the 9145STs. I'll see how they do once it gets dark.

If you do very much night driving, there is a great difference in the light output and it is very worthwhile IMHO. Also if you want to light up the night then do the fog light mod as well.

I did the mod, and I can say that there is not a dramatic difference, but there is a difference. Is is worth the $, now that is a ? that has to be answered by you.

Didn't really notice a dramatic difference after upgrading just the headlights but did notice that they made my fogs look yellow and dim. After later upgrading the fogs, noticed an improvement on light output to the road just ahead and to the sides.

Due to the fact that that I live in the country in Virginia where the deer are plentiful, the cost is cheap compared to repairing my truck one time. I have counted up to 20 deer during 1 trip down the 5 miles of 2 lane road i have to travel twice a day to get to the interstate. I bought them for the extra night vision that they provide and the peace of mind that that brings. For less that one hunderd dollars, it is an excellent insurance investment to me.
