Chilton repair manual for 04 Heritage????

I've got an 04 Heritage f-150. Which Chilton repair manual should I purchase (either Ford Picks-ups, Expedition & Lincoln Navigator 1997-2003 OR Ford F-150 Pick-ups 2004-06)? I want the pictures and descriptions to match what I've got. Input from anybody!!!! Thanks!

Yours would be the same as a 2003.

I realize this is not what you asked, but if you have ever used a Helms Manual you won't go wrong. Notwithstanding the price, I find these the most comprehensive, complete repair manuals available.

Thanks Flyin!

That looks like what I was looking for! Does the Helms manual cover every nut and bolt on the truck?

Pretty much bumper to bumper. As far as reference goes, there is not an area where I've needed info that I haven't been able to find it in the manual. Factory info, or course, not aftermarket. But you do get all the torque values, run-out tolerances, bearing clearances, etc. I've got one manual for my '92 'Stang and one for the '05 SCrew.

I had never done a gear swap on an 8.8 (on the 'Stang) in my life. I had only done a couple on 9" Fords. The 8.8 was a little more complicated than the 9-inch, but using the manual, I did it properly and had no problems.

What I seem to remember about the Chiltons and Haynes is the "installation is the reverse of the removal" part.
