Just a note on the Revos, I have had them on my 01 Montero (Full size not sport) and they were cool at first but after about 30,000 miles, they became really loud. Other than that, they were awesome, they wear very well and the traction is awesome. I just hate driving it anymore cause of the noise, plus I like my FX4 better, soooo quiet.

Anybody have experience with Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor? These tires rate the highest at tirerack.com from customer reviews. I am contemplating these as a replacement for my General's which by the way rated the lowest at the same poll.

Michelin LTX/MS here also.

I had them installed @ 200 miles just to get away from those crappy Generals.

Worth every penny

Just curious, and I don't mean to steal your thread, but would you get the Nittos or the Bridgestone Dueler Revos? I am looking to get 285/70/17's for my 2005 F150 scab. I can get a killer deal on either the Bridgestone Duelers or the Firestone Destinations. I have been quoted...through friend that work at tire shop....4 Revos, valve stems and free balance/rotation for life for $505.00 or 4 Firestone Destinations, valve stems and free balance/rotation for life for $445.00. Having said all this....everyone seems to agree the Nittos are superior, however I can't see paying the extra money considering the deal I am getting with the Revos. What do you think?
