Exclamation cowl induction

Is there a filter system (not a blower/superchager) that you can put up to a cowl induction hood and have a cold air intake that way on a 2004 F150 Fx4 and just to ask one other thing if anyone has any snorkal (pics) on there new fords

There are many that are bigger gear-heads than me and may prove me wrong.....but. A cowl induction hood works by giving air an easy way to escape through the big slot on the rear of the hood. Therefore increasing the amount of air going into the engine area through all of the openings both in front and beneath the front of the vehicle. They're used to keep an engine cooler because of the increased air flow. So I guess that any CAI like K&N, AF1, etc... might benifit from colder air in the engine compartment. But wouldn't be like running a ram air set up.

Yes there is a REAL sweet setup for the F150 and best of all they make it right in your area! It's made in Chesapeake, VA. I'll have to find the website and get it to you. It's something like JLTtruecoldair.com. It requires tuning for it though.
I'll be down in Salvo around the first or second week in August. BTW, nice truck!

Here's the link:

There was also an article in one of the Ford truck magazines a little while ago showing the install. Don't know if that can be found online or not.

I was just wondering if anyone on this board had this intake? I was thinking of getting it with the reflexion cowl induction hood and then take it to Troyers for tuning. I think I'll post this in the intake forum too.
