Why the interest in the threads? Just look up in a Fram guide for the right filter. Which happens to be the TG2 or at least that's what it is on my 07. Should be the same for yours. Go to Fram.com

There are 2 sizes that Ford used. One is a longer, skinnier filter and the other is shorter and fatter. Just take a quick look at which one you have before you pick up the new filter. I think all the 05+ trucks take the shorter/fatter one (not sure of the code). I know the first time I changed the oil in my truck I wasn't sure which one it was, so I got both and just returned the one I didn't need.

Only use an oil filter with an anti drainback valve. That's the main reason why I use Motorcraft oil filters. Crap, I sound like a salesman.
