Anyone using the Timbren SES ????
I like the level look that I have with the 2" AS and 33's But I don't want to have a bulldog stance when I hookup a trailer or load the bed. I know that I can do the AAL which I will most likely end up doing if no one can confirm that this system works.

I don't have this set-up on my truck, but I do know a couple of guys that have them on there F250/350's and 2500 Rams. They have them up front for when they are running thier snowplows. The Timbrens are supposed to be great, I havn't heard very many bad things about them.
I have them on my truck. I have had them since almost when I got it. They work great when loaded, but unloaded do make the ride alittle harsh at times. Overall, a cheep fix that works fine.
I will say that bags are the better way to go, and thats where I will end up in time.

I dont have those, I ended up going with the firestone airbags, much more versatility with the bags, and not such a rough ride, and you can adjust the ride height of the truck by about 1.5". Bad part is the cost which ended up being about $250, but it was well worth it.

Nico we must be talking about different systems because the diagram that I have is that it replaces the bumpstop for the rear axle and does not touch the axle unless it is loaded. I don't know how that would make it ride harsh... cause are you not riding on factory suspension unloaded?????
Nico is right, they do make the unloaded right a little stiffer SOMETIMES... If you're driving over smooth pavement, then they will have no effect. But if you go over any sizable dip, pothole, or pavement separation, then you'll feel the Timbrens hit the axle. That's where it gets stiffer. Instead of using the full length of the oem suspension travel, you only use a little bit of it and then you come in contact with the Timbrens...
I had them installed on my truck in attempt to get a little better handling when towing my travel trailer. I rode around with them unloaded for a few days, and yes I did notice a difference. I also towed with them once, and didn't notice any noticable improvement. Long story short, took them off less than a week after I bought them, and sold them in the f150online classifieds for $70 (yeah, he got a steal).
