know that you have ghad it for a couple of days, I have a couple of ?'s Do you have to have playlist for the HU to work efficiently. Hsve you figured out all the function, and if so, is it worth the $200 more than the 6800.

HEY 06FX4

Was your truck a flood vehicle?
Wondering why there is so much rust on your metal dash supports.

Nice install though!

Most unpainted metal is going to rust, except aluminum, stainless, etc. Look inside your dash, and back seat where the top seat connects to the bottom....rust

Do what I did.

Just drill a hole large enough for the smaller end of the cable to fit through. Then I got one of those Sticky Pad things from Best Buy and trimmed it to fit in the hole. Now it's out of sight and doesn't slide around. I even throw my cell phone in there occasionally.

i mounted my ipod cable in my center console lid. i got a swivel mount for a cell phone and it sits in that. ....the center console is pretty easy to take apart.
