Truck Pops When Turning
Truck Pops When Turning
It seems like here lately that my truck will make a slight pop when turning right or left. Ive noticed it here the last few days the only thing is I got a magnaflow muffler only installed tuesday.I cant tell if its coming form the front or rear. It pops during accleration from a turn. Any ideas on what this could be?

Maybe some bubble wrap under the tire or some balloons?
JK I bet something with the spacer is loosening, mine started popping and after checking I found the swaybar endlink was loose where it connected to the lower control arm, I tightened them and no more popping. Check that, very easy to check.

I had a 2001 F150 and I had the same problem. It ended up being a balljoint. Mine started out doing it only when turning while going uphill, then eventually started doing whenever you turned the wheel. Better get it checked out now b/f it does any more damage.
The way that I have alwayrs checked mine is to jack the truck up and grab the top and bottom of the tire and try to rock it in and out. If it moves then you have a balljoint problem, also you could have a buddy do the rocking while you actually look at the ball joiint.
I've the same deal going on with my 05. When I accelerate from a stop, I hear a slight pop coming from the passenger side front wheel. I have been meaning to tell the service guys about it, and get it warrantied, but whouldn't ya know it, the day I took it in for a few other things, it wasn't making the noise. Convienent. I anyone finds a fix, becides those stated, I'd be all ears...
