Alarm Help?
Hey all! Name is Steve and this is my first time posting on this site. I just recently picked up a brand new '07 F150 after trading in my '04 SVT Focus. I do plan on doing some mods to the truck as of now, but nothing to radical.
Secondly, before trading in the SVTF, I removed an alarm I had installed through a local shop. Well, the shop has now closed and I want to install the alarm in my truck. Today, I spent a couple of hours below the dash doing the install, but I got stumped when it came to wiring the door trigger wire from the brain to the truck, as well as trouble wiring the dome light wire from the brain to the truck? The alarm is a K9 Classic-E with a Echo-2 paging system and dual zone shock sensor. As of right now the alarm will arm and unarm, but since I haven't been able to wire the dome light and door trigger wires, the unit will not lock-unlock the doors (I have to still use my stock kelyess remote). Can anybody help me out? I did a search and really didn't find much that would help. I just need to know what color wires to look for and where to find them on the trucks harness.
Thanks!
