f150 emblems

Hey gang... im trying to go with an all black theme on the exterior of my fx4...
trying to find some all black emblems to replace the chrome on the sides and also the ovals on front and rear... any ideas

for the ovals you can have emblem overlays made....route 66 decals on ebay made me custom ones and they are very nice....as far as the sides are concerned...maybe you can have them powdercoated or something but idk of any black emblems you can buy...

I just had the factory paint mixed in a spray can at my local Auto Paint supply for $18. Then I taped off my chrome badges, sanded them, primed and gave them two coats of paint. Looks great that way and inexpensive. 2.5 years later and all is fine with the paint.

steve at billetbadges made up a set for me. best investment i've made. everyone's eye seems to gravitate to the badge, noticing its not something they'd see at the dealership, conversation starts...

Not sure where you can get the badges but you could order the emblem overlays from www.webxtremes.com
That they make a good product and have good prices. I ordered decals from them that I had for my Sport Trac that I had before I got my F150.

Thanks guys... ive found some cool stuff from all of your info...im already looking at some that can have a black backround and blue (body color) lettering...
