Rebates?

Ford has going on right now the $3,000 rebate, which ends at the end of march. What kind of rebates could I expect after March?? I'm trying to figure out if I should go ahead and take advantage of the current rebate or hold off. I know towards the end of the year rebates get way better, but I don't want to wait until 08 to get a new ride. Thanks ya'll.

p.s. I know I've been putting up alot of threads lately, but hopefully their are other people that have these same questions. :o

It's a crap shoot. Rebates go up and down during the course of the model year. Very unlikely you can guess if the next rebate will be better or worse. But, typically the rebates offered after I buy are generally a little better.

Do your homework up front. Get a X plan pin and get your best deal. If you're happy with the numbers go for it.

You can subscribe to Automotive News and sometimes, you'll read about upcoming rebates, but don't expect much from this.

I think it is all a crap shoot too. I do feel that Ford will try to make up its sales in the third and fourth physical quatrters to impress the shareholders if sales are slow in the first part of the year.

Where can I get an x-plan pin. I might be able to get one through my brothers work, but not sure if it is x-plan. And I tried to register at www.blueovalnews.com, but they don't accept hotmail accounts and thats the only email I got. My brothers plan from his work gives you the invoice price, plus 1%.
