Big brake kit or rotor upgrade?

For those with bigger wheels and more performance I need help, would it be worth getting a nice baer or apracing big brake kit or should I just get slotted n drill replacemeant rotors? I have 24's soo my brakes are visable, I have them painted a sliver metallic for now and personaly I think they look sharper then the rust black lol. I dont tow and my truck stops pretty good for me long as im not trying to do 0-100-0 (never done that but u know what I mean)... 15" brakes or just slotted n drilled with proact pads?

P>S no power adder... yet!!

Baer makes a kit called eradispeed plus 1 with 15" slotted and cross drilled rotors and caliper relocation brackets for about 800 bux I think. While going with the full 6 piston caliper upgrade would give you tons of stopping power, those things are really pricey at almost 3 grand for the fronts. I want the relocation kit myself, try it out for us and tell us the results!

I would belive so that the more pistons you have the more stoping power your have, I just dont see spending $3500 on stoping maybe a few feet shorter then stock with better pads

True, though every few feet help and I bet there is big "feel" difference. However, $3,500 is not worth it in my mind either. Not unless you were trying to turn this into a track truck.

with the 2wds they couldnt get it to work with the front hubs so they finally just send you a whole new front assembly bearings and all. heres a picture

Oh yeah that helps a ton, but with the larger rotors and extra diameter, you will still get a better/stronger bite with factory calipers than with the factory sized rotors. It's all about leverage. With these freakin 22's I am really considering the plus sized rotors. I'm waiting for some feedback!

i have the baer 6 pistons if u want more info. i know its not the plus sized but its still baer. oh on another note u might wanna check the clearance on 22s for the plus ones because when my big brake kit didnt fit my +35mm, i was gonna return it for the plus one but the rep said the wheels still wouldnt clear because since it relocates the caliper it moves it in the way. it might just depend on the wheel design
